1. WHAT IS ECLIPSE LEATHER-LOOK FILM FOR?
Eclipse is a self-adhesive furniture film in deep black, with a natural matt structure and tangible leather grain. It gives furniture, doors, walls and accent surfaces a striking, luxurious appearance. Part of the premium Leather Prestige series. Note: the film is not stretchable and is intended for smooth, flat surfaces.

2. WHICH SURFACES DOES IT STICK TO BEST?
On smooth, clean substrates such as lacquered wood, MDF and furniture board. They must be dust-free, grease-free and dry. On porous or difficult substrates, apply an adhesion primer first. Dry application, indoor use only.

3. HOW MUCH FILM DO I NEED?
Measure the width and height of all surfaces, add them together and allow around 10% extra. The roll is 122 cm wide and 10 metres long. If in doubt, order up to 5 samples first.

4. HOW DO I APPLY IT WITHOUT BUBBLES?
Clean, degrease and dry the surface. Peel the liner back gradually and squeegee from the centre outwards. The air channels let trapped air escape. On deep black every unevenness in the substrate shows — inspect and smooth the surface especially carefully beforehand. At edges, work with a clean cut.

5. IS IT SUITABLE FOR KITCHENS AND DAMP ROOMS?
Yes. Water-resistant, dirt-repellent and easy to wipe clean. The matt surface barely reflects, so large black areas read calm. Fire class M1. Clean with pH-neutral products; fingerprints come off with a soft microfibre cloth.

6. CAN I REMOVE IT LATER?
Yes. Warm it gently and pull it away slowly at a shallow angle without damaging the substrate. Ideal for rented homes or temporary restyling.

7. HOW LONG DOES THE FILM LAST?
On the Leather Prestige series we offer up to 5 years' warranty with correct indoor use. Clean with a soft cloth or sponge and pH-neutral products, never harsh acids or alkalis. Don't scrub hard into the grain.

8. CAN I ORDER A SAMPLE FIRST?
Yes, up to 5 samples of our interior films. In black it's the grain that decides whether a surface reads refined or flat — and you only see that with it in your hand.
